Professional Development Luncheon & Conference
March 28, 2025

The Culverhouse Professional Development Conference will be held on March 28, 2025, on the University of Alabama campus. The conference brings together Culverhouse alums and other professionals to explore academic and professional success in business. There is emphasis on how to mitigate systemic challenges women face in pursuit of their greatest potential, so that they can make even greater contributions to their organizations and society. The conference also serves as the center of targeted outreach to alumni to increase their engagement with Culverhouse and our students.
 
This event is co-presented by the Culverhouse Office of Culture and Success, our Women In Business Alumni and the Manderson Women in Business student organization. It is open to all, campus and community.
 
Business professional or business casual attire is required.

Professional Development Luncheon

March 28, 2025, 11:00 am

The Professional Development Luncheon will feature Tonya Hill Mitchell presenting Acting Brand New: Personal and Professional Branding as a Leader. Ms. Hill Mitchell is an alum of The University of Alabama and has more than 25 years Human Resources expertise and is certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP). 

Ms. Hill Mitchell is the founder and Executive Director of Diane’s Heart. Diane’s Heart is a non-profit that provides services to single mothers and their children. Ms. Hill Mitchell has a demonstrated history of working in the civic and social organization industry. 

Proceeds from the luncheon benefit the Minerva Young Women’s Business Summer Program
