The Culverhouse Business Prep Summer Program is a one-week, on-campus residential experience designed to support rising high school seniors in Alabama who would benefit from additional preparation for college success, and exploration of business as a potential major.
Participants will explore potential business majors, connect with faculty and alumni, participate in hands-on workshops and a local business field trip, and participate in an elevator pitch competition. Those who successfully complete the summer experience and later enroll at The University of Alabama to pursue a degree in business will receive continued academic support, including guidance on applying for scholarships and other financial resources.
The 2026 summer session will take place June 21–26 on the UA campus.
The registration fee for the Business Prep Summer Program is $900. Full or partial fee waivers will be available on a limited basis.
The program fee includes UA residential hall accommodations, all meals, classroom sessions with UA Culverhouse faculty, expert advice on applying to college (including seminars on admissions requirements, financial aid, and housing), field trips, supplies, camp t-shirt, a closing banquet for students and parents, group photo, and certificate of completion.
